Purpose:

With the dual objectives of promoting healthy club growth and active member participation, the Board of Stewards encourages any club member willing to share his or her time and sailing knowledge to sign on as "Club Mentor". Below is the list of LMSC members who have agreed to serve in that capacity.

If You need help or advice:

Newly joined, prospective members, or current members who wish assistance learning to sail, learning about different types of sailcraft, or just engaging in "sailor dialog" are invited to use the "Club Mentor" list as a valuable club resource. Mentor volunteers are willing to share reasonable amounts of time helping learners in their own vessels or in the owner's vessel as may be appropriate. When this shared time can coincide with club activities, so much the better.
