Membership

First and foremost, LMSC is a member supported and maintained sailing club. It is a volunteer organization which in turn allows fees and dues to be kept relatively low. It is not intended to be a marina or a storage facility for boats. We have no paid employees and do much of the club work ourselves. Members are expected to participate in the sailing events and social gatherings along with the support and maintenance of the club. If this sounds like it fits your definition of a sailing club, we’d love to hear from you, show you around the club and introduce you to the sport of sailing on Lake Murray.
